Big, bold and full of character, the Sligachan Lodge offers the perfect base for family holidays, celebratory escapes or groups who wish to explore the area in comfort.
Overview:
The Sligachan Lodge has a large fully-fitted kitchen with dining table for congregating and conversing. There is a comfortable living room with open fire, tv & board games. There are five bedrooms in total, each with a bathroom / shower room. There is a secure back garden with pic-nic benches offering sweeping views of the Cuillin mountains plus parking on site for 5 cars.
The Nitty Gritty:
The kitchen is fully fitted with a large fridge / freezer, oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, toaster and kettle. We provide all utensils needed to cook plus dishwasher tabs & detergents. Loo rolls, towels and bed linen is provided. There will also be laundry detergent available for the washing machine.

Highly recommend. The house was spotless, plenty of seating in the living room, and had all the appliances / pots needed to cook. We really liked that each bedroom had its own bathroom and the bathrooms looked recently re-done. The location was great as it's private but also close enough to Portree.

Sligachan Lodge was a beautiful home for the 9 of us. The highlight of the property is the spacious kitchen/dining room, which made for very nice home cooked dinners and fun evenings as well as the outdoor space with 2 benches. The house was spotless, with comfortable bedrooms, and one bathroom for each bedroom.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had 11 people in our party, and everyone slept comfortably & had plenty of bathroom access. It goes without saying that the surrounding area left us breathless - this location was the perfect base for our daily trips around the Isle of Skye.
